As a great Australian company, we believe that our engagement with people, the communities in which we operate and the environment is an integral part of our corporate culture.

Everyday at Jobfind, we work to improve the lives of our job seekers by preparing them for and then helping them to find meaningful and sustainable employment. This not only improves a job seeker’s economic position but increases their skill set, self-esteem and social participation.

The Angus Knight Group, and Jobfind in particular, is proud of our focus on Indigenous engagement and ‘closing the gap’. In fact, around 20% of our clients are Indigenous. We have extensive experience servicing some of the most remote and rugged areas of Australia and have developed effective, innovative and culturally specific programs to help Indigenous Australians develop work and life skills. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility program, Angus Knight supports the communities who support us through sponsorship of local sports teams, local cultural events and local charities.

We encourage our staff to contribute to the increased wellbeing of the greater community by providing resources and financial support to enable them to do this. In 2010, staff let their Mo’s grow to raise over $16,500 for Movember. Our people have also donated clothes and toys to charity, food to the International Basket Brigade and money to various charities including the Queensland Flood Relief Appeal and Make a Wish Foundation. In 2011, Jobfind hosted Australia's Biggest Morning Tea events in our Centres around the country, raising close to $30,000 for the Cancer Council. We also periodically host local events, inviting employers and the community to raise funds for various local and national charities.

So, in addition to improving the lives of the people we service every day, we make sure that we don’t forget our responsibility to those around us.
